The World’s Most Amazing Vacation Rentals” gives Netflix viewers a glimpse behind the doors of incredible vacation rentals around the globe. Each episode, hosts Jo Franco, Megan Batoon and Luis D. Ortiz check into luxury, unique and even budget vacation homes to show viewers what’s available for every price range and taste. Check out which drool-worthy properties featured in the show are pet-friendly, as well as our awesome alternatives for those that don’t welcome Fido.

1. Chill in an Igloo

Featured on Episode 4, Lucky Ranch Snow Igloo is a gorgeous getaway in the province of Lapland, Finland. You and your pooch are invited to snowshoe through an untouched forest with a guide before retiring to this unique snow home to snuggle up in a real bed. Wait for the perfect moment to sneak outside and witness the majestic Northern Lights. Guests are free to use the toilets, shower and kitchen in the warm house nearby.

2. Experience a Dude Ranch

Who wants to gallop with Fido at a pet-friendly dude ranch? The Old West tradition comes to life in Episode 2 with a visit to G Bar M Ranch in Clyde Park, MT. Located on 30,000 acres of pristine back country, this working ranch invites guests to ride alongside real cowboys, wake up to Rocky Mountain views, and enjoy the sounds of a nearby trout stream from rustic cabins on the property.

G Bar M Ranch limits the number of riders to 12. Dogs are welcome for no additional fee. Nightly rates start at $350.

3. Rent a Private Island

Cuvée's Royal Island is Episode 5’s luxury property. The private island in Spanish Wells, Bahamas carries a hefty price tag, but it includes five luxury beachfront bungalows, a private staff and chef, spa access, and a variety of incredible activities to enjoy during your stay. Fly on a seaplane and enjoy a cruise around the island, try your hand at paddleboarding or spearfishing, or just chill out with your pooch and catch a flick under the stars in the outdoor movie theater.

Cuvée's Royal Island sleeps 12. Dogs are welcome for no additional fee. Nightly rates start at $16,400.

4. Relax in Paradise

The unique property featured in Episode 1 of the show is the latest edition to the Camaya Bali Bamboo Village in the rice terraces of eastern Bali. Built from bamboo stakes, the pet-friendly Camaya Bali Butterfly is an idyllic structure surrounded by nature and overlooking rolling rice paddies. Chill out in the hanging net on the top floor, soak in the hot tub and listen to the sweet sounds of the island’s wildlife singing a chorus for you.

5. Have a Foodie Adventure

Episode 6 may have had viewers drooling for a culinary adventure in Japan. Although dogs are not able to join you at Seasons Niseko, you and your pup can enjoy a similar experience at Blackberry Farm in Townsend, TN. The 4,200-acre culinary estate located just outside of Great Smoky Mountains National Park is famous for its James Beard Award-winning restaurant, heirloom garden, brewery and scenic location. Days start with a hearty breakfast of biscuits and gravy and farm-fresh eggs. Then, meet Blackberry Farm’s Lagotto Romagnolo truffle dogs. At the end of the day, enjoy a gourmet Appalachian farm-to-table dinner at an outdoor table with sunset views and your best friend by your side. Fido can dig into gourmet dog biscuits whenever he gets peckish.

Blackberry Farm accepts dogs for an additional $250 fee per stay. All-inclusive nightly rates start at $845. Alcohol isn’t included in the price, but lodging, three meals daily and some activities are.

6. Stay in a Treehouse

Episode 7 of the Netflix series highlights some of the most popular treehouses in the world. Sadly, none of the featured accommodations welcome pets. But we've found a few that do. Stone City Treehouse in Hardwick, VT offers lovely stay among the leaves. The house's pretty deck overlooks a stream, and the grounds below include a tranquil sitting area, hammock and campfire space. There's even a hanging bed underneath the structure! For calls of nature, there's a basic composting toilet in the treehouse, and guests also have access to a full, modern bathroom with shower at the house.

7. Sleep in a Lighthouse

Fido isn't able to stay at the featured lighthouse in the Netflix series, but you and your pup can find a worthy alternative in Point Arena, CA. Located on 23 private acres, Point Arena Lighthouse Head Keeper's House boasts unrivaled views of the incredible coastline and historic lighthouse constructed in 1870. The large, comfortably furnished home has two Queen bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, and a living room fireplace where you can cuddle up with your pup on chilly nights. A complimentary bottle of Husch wine and Mendocino Chocolate Company chocolates will be waiting for you on the dining room table.

Point Arena Lighthouse Head Keeper's House accommodates four guests. Up to three dogs are welcome for $25 per pet, per stay. Nightly rates start at $303.
