Allegiant is an American low-cost airline headquartered in Nevada. Small pets are welcome to travel inside the cabin on select routes within the contiguous 48 United States. International flights do not accept all pets. Visit Website

Or call (702) 505-8888 for more information. You can use BringFido to find a pet friendly place to stay at your destination.

Pet Reservations

Before being accepted on board, all pet carriers must be inspected at the airport to ensure that the pet and carrier are in compliance with the guidelines. You can book Fido's spot online when purchasing your own spot on board. If you have any questions on availability, you can contact the Customer Service Team at (702) 505-8888.

Pets in the Cabin

Cats and dogs are welcome in the cabin with Allegiant if the flight is within the contiguous 48 United States, San Juan, and Puerto Rico. Adult passengers (at least 15 years old) are permitted to bring 1 pet carrier and no more than 2 pets per carrier are permitted. Pets must remain fully inside their carrier underneath the seat in front of you for the duration of the flight. Pets are not included as part of carry-on baggage limitations. A non-refundable fee of $50.00 per segment per carrier will apply for all pets.

Pets in Checked Baggage

Unfortunately, larger dogs are not welcome on Allegiant flights as checked baggage.

Carrier Guidelines

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must be no larger than 9" x 16" x 19" (22 cm x 40 cm x 48 cm). They must be approved, soft-sided, and leak-proof. Once inside their carrier, pets should be able to stand and turn around inside.

Edward traveled as a pet for several years until a got him registered as my emotional support animal. As long as he was in his bag... everything went well with the staff.
