Entry Requirements

Complete the following entry requirements to travel to Netherlands with your pet:
  • Your pet must be identified with a microchip.
  • You pet must be vaccinated against rabies after being microchipped at most 12 weeks and at least 21 days prior to departure.
  • Dogs and cats must be at least 15 weeks old in order to travel to the Netherlands.
  • Travelers from EU countries must bring a Pet Passport issued by a licensed veterinarian for entry.
  • Pets from elsewhere must travel with a veterinarian health certificate from an accredited veterinarian instead. After the certificate has been signed by the veterinarian it is valid for 10 days.
  • Upon arrival, report your pet to Customs to verify documents and gain entry.

Quarantine Information

Pets traveling to Netherlands do not need to be quarantined if they meet all the necessary requirements listed above.
