We had so much fun bringing our puppy to Tocoa Riverside Restaurant. They offer a special screened in "pups porch" with a big waterbowl and even a special Canine Menu! We had a wonderful meal, friendly service and love bringing our pooch here!

Very disappointed that we couldn't sit on the outdoor screened in porch with our puppy. We understand we can't sit inside, but the hostess told us the only place we could be with our puppy was to sit outside next to the parking lot, having our puppy to sit on the hot gravel at 90 degrees. No thanks! Not worth the half hour drive. PS: there's no NC law against dog on the patio. The clarification states that restaurants can choose whether to allow pets in their outdoor seating areas. Pets must be leashed, can't enter the restaurant and can't come in contact with employees preparing food or food service items. So it's clearly the owners own choice. :-(

Love the wines and our puppy felt very welcome

Beautiful vineyard and very passionate owner proud of about his craft, can tell you so much about wines, but most of all he loves dogs and they are very much welcomed here. Strongly recommend!

We have been here multiple times and loved the ambiance as much as the beers. Just about every table on the patio had a well behaved pooch and all the pups got along well. There was plenty of waterbowls and we had a great time together with our 7 month old labrador puppy.

Our 2nd time here, we had a very nice lunch with my 7 month labrador pup. She got a bowl of water and a free 'puppy bratwurst' on the house. Great service, great German food and beautiful spot along the river.
