The dogs had a great time at the beach! They were a little nervous of the waves but waded in. There was not a lot of people but we went off season, mid May. you can drive on the beach but be warned- they recommend driving a 4x4!! We had a truck, not 4x4 and we got stuck in the sand. Very helpful people pushed and pulled us out. if you don’t have a 4x4 just park and walk down. The beach is right there after the parking lot.
