My husband and I visited here for lunch. All of the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make us and our dog comfortable. We met the owner and his dog as well, very nice, family-owned, hand-built venue. The owners dog is a sweetheart who roams the yard but never made a peep or intruded on visitors unless welcomed in. Old fashioneds were delicious and lunch was tasty. Highly recommend a visit.

5/5 overall! We went to second Salem on a Sunday around 6pm and it was not crowded, we were able to sit right away. There are 8 tables on the outdoor patio that are dog friendly. Our dog even got a treat from our waitress! Beers were good, loaded tots were good, brisket and shrimp sandwhiches were pretty good but more 4/5 not 5/5.
