I’m from southern CA so I’m a tad spoiled with parks & dog areas. This park is large, a good open space & good if you are staying in the Denver for a few days but I went out of my way on a long distance drive passing thru Denver to see this park which I wouldn’t do again. There are signs that your dog needs to be leashes but it’s not enforced.

On a cross country trip with my dog I chose to drive thru Omaha to see this bridge & im so glad I did! the bridge/park was beautiful & clean. There were people cycling & walking. They had a huge water fountain that kids or dogs could run thru. There were the largest Porta potties I’ve ever used & the cleanest. they had dog poop bag stations on both side of the bridge. Definitely glad I didn’t pass this up.

my dog didn’t necessarily love being on the gondola but it was a nice adventure to take with him & see beautiful colorado. BreckConnect was very accommodating & let us have our own gondola & the line went fast!!
