It was a very warm day. I saw picnic tables but they did not have shade. I went in and asked if they were dog friendly and had a shady table. she said to bring our dog on in. The Hostess sat us on a covered deck overlooking the sound. She gave Piper, our Lab, a dog treat and water. We were there for lunch off season. .Food was delicious. Very accommodating and I highly recommend

Sat in patio area with our pup. Waitress was great. She brought pup a dish of water and even offered her bits of beef. Food was delicious and plentiful. We had the roast beef sandwich and the BBQ beef with coleslaw.

Spent time exploring the furnace and learned about what it was like in the 1700's to produce iron. Large area to walk with your dog. Pet friendly water fountain provided near the visitors center.
