Cash deposit on arrival

We booked a room here for New Year's Eve so we could avoid driving home, almost an hour away after midnight. Upon arrival the man behind the desk asked for my ID and tells me he won't check us in without a $100 cash deposit. When I asked what for he said with a bit of an attitude, we lived too close so have to pay. I told him I didn't have it in cash and wouldn't pay anyway to which he said no room. We called BringFido and they called the motel and were told the same, so they cancelled all the rest of the transaction.

Anniversary Vacation

Arbors at Island Landing Hotel & Suites

We Arrived on Friday afternoon the Staff checked us right in immediately without issue. The 3 of us were taken care of from the get go. It was awesome that we could walk to the island and not have to worry about driving! Also when you check in you are given breakfast vouchers for every morning at Reagan's Pancake House which was delish! The whole staff was checking constantly to see if we needed anything which was nice.
