So great
Frisco's Chickencame here after driving out from delco to check out Beaus dream dog park. the food was great, employees were very nice, nice little spot! Yayo and I both enjoyed it.
Forever my favorite place
Wissahickon Valley ParkTook the quick hike back to hermits cave and it was great! Took the time to stop and take things in at a couple strategically places benches, saw plenty of dogs on the trail, even a pair of horses! also passed by hermitage mansion on the way, which was cool to see. I normally go back by Valley green to feed the ducks. Wissahickon Valley Park has so much to offer, it’s forever a favorite of mine
Meh
Dog Park at Schuylkill River Parkstopped here after a disappointing trip to Cira Greene. it wasn’t awful by any means, but you can tell they didn’t really think it through. it’s just turf on top of concrete, not uncommon for some dog parks, but there’s zero shade, so it was insanely hot. was in and out in minutes, as were many others, as it was just not safe for the dogs with how hot it was. would be three stars if they did something about that. it’s not anything to write home about or go out of your way to visit in my opinion
Really nice spot but
Cira Greenbeautiful spot, enjoyed my time there, but dogs are not allowed on the grass there, wish I knew this beforehand. dog park area was nice but very small and nobody else was in there so what was going to be a day trip to enjoy sitting out on the grass turned into being relegated to the dog park or concrete walkways, which quickly got old. still a nice area and worth a visit, but would have been way more enjoyable if they were truly a dog friendly location
Forever a favorite
Wissahickon Valley Park Trail SystemI go by Valley Green (off Henry Ave and Wises Mill Road). grew up coming here to feed the ducks and continue to go as an adult. finally brought my dog here and he loved it every bit as much as I did!
