Nice daycare

Took my girl Ophelia in while I went to Cumberland Island and it was very nice. The staff were all friendly and helpful and they even have extra cookies you can buy for your dog— I got Ophelia one for when we got back to the cabin. They said she didn’t really do anything all day but she’s kind of shy so I expected it. All in all, a great experience! I’d recommend them.

Cool place, probably not worth the $$

Ophelia had on her boots on a particularly hot day. The staff were all delighted by her little shoes and a maintenance guy even told us where to get ice cold water for her! They have a little dog bowl out by the lighthouse with water in it for any pups that might come through. Dogs are allowed through the gift shop but not into any historical buildings. Friendly staff, cool place to see, but at $15 a person it might not be THAT interesting. The bathrooms were clean and well air conditioned though.

Great park!

Great park to go to— very clean. Staff is friendly and even let her come into a couple of buildings while we asked questions. Dog friendly cabins are available and they give you extra towels in case your dog needs them. Trails are well maintained and she can go anywhere on them. Great views and a pretty park.

It’s Alright

The trail isn’t shaded at all, as a heads up. There’s a few spots there that are shaded, and while dogs aren’t allowed in the building, the nice lady at the front desk let me stand at the door and pay for a water for my dog. 3/5 just because this would be better as a rest stop for your dog to walk a bit and go to the bathroom than an attraction. I’m sure it’s much more fun if it’s only humans.

Good location

I went at 2pm on a Saturday and there were a few dogs there, but they were all well behaved. My dog had a great time. The only thing I’d note (why I knocked off a point) I’d that if you have any mobility issues, this isn’t a good spot. The big dog side has a large dip in the middle with a fairly steep hill.

Very fun!

We hiked a little over two miles—there’s several places where your dog can access the water.
