Simply the Best!

The patio is not really "a patio". No sitting outside in the cold! The waitress was adorable and brought our boy a bowl of water right away. Food was amazing. Ahi Tuna tacos... who does that?! This was a beautiful way to end an all day car trip!

Awesome!

We had the patio to ourselves. The staff were concerned that we would be cold, it was March, but we told them that we are Canadians! The food was fast and delicious. The waiter, Adrian, was very friendly. Good job all around!

Not exactly as advertised

We stayed 10 nights. As for the positives, the location is great for day trips out for beaches and shopping and hiking. Not so positive: The cabin is old, with tired furnishings and soft beds. The bedding is cheap and uncomfortable and the slippery fabric has the comforters slipping off all the time! Incidentals? We bought everything from extra toilet paper to oil. The kitchen is not stocked at all, except for coffee filters and plastic wrap.

We brought a crate for our dog but the guests previous to us must not have and we vacuumed black dog hair off the couch. No extra blankets meant we were cold and had to have the heat on all the time. This property is not fenced, which was not an issue for our dog but might be for others. No laundry, even though it's listed as an amenity. The water pressure is poor so even a hand wash was impossible.

After 8 days on the road we had a bag of laundry plus dog blankets and had to find a laundromat on our first day. This cabin is a nice weekend get away for locals, but it is noisy with the neighbours power tools at 7 am on Saturday! The redwoods and early morning must and wild turkeys made it beautiful but we were not prepared for the achy backs and cold feet!

We were made very welcome!

We didn't feel like pur dog was an imposition. The bar staff and waut staff were very friendly towards us! Loved the food, too.
