Great little dog park in a peaceful setting. A perfect break for travelers on I-90 or for local dogs to exercise and play. Nicely maintained, clean, two separate fenced areas, shade, benches, picnic table, water fountain, agility equipment, and lush lawn. All the amenities one looks for in a dog park.

If you’re on the East side of town, an excellent option for Fido to get some exercise and social interaction. Eastridge has plenty of room to roam and is well equipped with shade stops and water. A good fun break in the day!
If you’re visiting from out of town, make sure you don’t miss the gems that Colorado Springs has to offer including Bear Creek Dog Park and Pub Dog (yes, yes a bar/restaurant with indoor and outdoor off leash areas).

A great play break for Fido. Everything you need in a dog park - lots of room to roam and run, and a large shade structure with picnic tables, too. We met friendly, local dogs. Local pride is clear in this clean, well maintained park. Bring water for now, but evidently plans to install a dog fountain are in the works.

Read more about John Douangdara Dog Park which is the dog park within Siouxland Freedom Park. A not to be missed stop when visiting the Sioux City area.

A nicely maintained dog park with all the key amenities. Very spacious! Nicely maintained grass, shade trees, shade shelter, picnic tables, play fixtures, and water fountain. Very delightful, plus a time to honor our war heroes and dogs. Plan on extra time to visit Siouxland Freedom Park’s exact half-scale replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. that is made from the same granite from India as the wall in D.C. A great break for Fido plus a time to heal, reflect and pay tribute.

Clearly a local’s favorite with all the dogs that come to play and exercise. For the traveler, there is easy access to the interstate highway. A spacious, clean, well maintained park that offer all the amenities you need, especially shade and water. Since it’s such a popular park, odds are great of finding a playmate for Fido. A real find in downtown Hayward. A comfortable, cool wood deck for Fido. Nicely shaded with generous landscaping. A great break in a non-obvious location in the middle of downtown.

Wow! What great fun! Water everywhere, other dogs, and some great land to run on, too. It doesn’t get any better. This dog park merits planning you trip around it.

A nice collection of shade trees, picnic tables and benches to complement the grassy field. Water fountain for Fido is much appreciated feature. A good place for a break and exercise - get your own lunch to go in town, first. The downside is folks are not too good about picking up poop.

Beautiful location right on the shores of Lac Courte Oreilles. Very large patio area so there are lots of seating opportunities for you and your leashed Fido. Meats are smoked on-site, so that makes my dining decision simple. I agree the smoked prime rib is an excellent choice. Staff is very welcoming to both two-legged and four-legged guests. A fun (and delicious) outing for all.

Although located right in the heart of Hayward, there is a surprisingly outdoorsy feel to the setting. Your leashed Fido is welcomed outside and treated to a water bowl. Patio is well covered, so even inclement weather does not stand in your way of dining outside, Pizza is a real treat so two-legged diners are happy, too. A nice option to consider when visiting the area.

Yes, it’s really there. If you inadvertently pull into the parking area for the main recreational complex, you will not spot the dog park which is just to the East hidden behind a band of trees. The Dog Park has its own parking area on 12th Avenue, just across the street from from McKesson. Two nicely maintained, fenced-in areas for Fido to run free and play with others. Nice grassy fields, but shade is limited until the planted trees mature further. Water available onsite with a dog fountain. All in all, a fun outing.

Beautiful patio overlooking Whitefish Lake where you can enjoy a delicious meal while Fido relaxes at your feet. Our Lili was treated to a wonderful, ice-filled dog bowl of water to enjoy while taking in the peaceful views and celebrating the colorful flowers embracing the deck. The food choices for the two-legged visitors are a surprising treat. Personal favorites include the Steak Sandwich and the Tuna Caesar Sandwich. - some simply delightful cuts of meat. A lakefront treat for all.

Great choice of beers and other beverages for the two-legged folks while Fido can enjoy their very own dog beer. What more do you need? Ok, they have some incredible dog bones available, too. Friendly, welcoming staff. Our Lili loves it. Some great choices for a nice meal, too.
