Indy (4 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi) enjoyed his stay. The hotel provided him with a water bowl, a dog bed, and water bottles for his water bowl. They delivered these items directly to our room. They also gave him a “Kimpton Alton Hotel” bandana and complimentary dog treats whenever he passed by the receptionist desk. Staff unloaded our luggage onto a luggage cart and pushed it up to our room. Indy was able to relieve himself at the nearby Joseph Conrad Mini Park up the street from the hotel every day.

The hotel would send daily texts to check on us and see if we needed anything. There is also a really nice local dog park, Francisco Park Dog Play Area, nearby if your pet needs to release some energy. It offers free street parking (if needed). Keep in mind that the hotel only provides daily $70 (plus tax) valet parking. The price includes in-and-out privileges and you just have to text them to have your car ready to go. A cheaper option would be to park at Anchorage Square Garage across the street (make sure to book online in advance).
