Visiting on vacation and the park is a good size to allow my 2 young high energy dogs to run. There is natural shade. It's a typical in town off leash park with benches and water. One reviewer claimed warning signs for alligator and snakes. No worries there as I didn't see any and there are no ponds or waterways near or in park. We have traveled and used dog parks often and this one is clean, secure, and reasonably sized for a city dog park.

My Vizslas love the park here. The people are friendly and welcoming. Lots of space for dogs to run. Some new agility equipment was added last year and most people do a good job of picking up after their dog. Also if after the person needs a walk or dogs need training the rec center outdoor options are great for getting dogs used to many things. There is a separate walking track I have used for leash training after the dogs played. Can get to be a crowd in the evening at times.

Was relaxing with pup before final potty run and when I got up and turned the lights on several roaches were scurrying to hide. As I gathered our stuff found several dead roaches as well. They offered me a different room which I declined. We checked out at 10pm after driving 700 miles.

Front desk checked us in at 10 pm after a bad hotel experience. Gave me a first floor room close to an exit. Thinking he noticed my younger dog was a puppy. Room was excellent and I LOVE the shift at LA Quinta away from carpet in rooms.
