Needs work
Bark Park at Bill Wood ParkIt’s better than nothing but definitely don’t bring your small dogs. The fence is field fence not chain-link and there is chicken wire on the bottom to try and keep small dogs in but there are several holes and broken areas that need repair. My large dog was fine, but she doesn’t test fence lines. There is a hose and a water bowl as well as a trashcan, but the gates don’t have actual latches, It’s just a piece of chain that you have to finagle. Plenty of shade, a bench, table and a gravel parking lot but it definitely needs work.
Busy but good
Tandem Creperie and CoffeehouseEven on a Monday morning this place was busy. Limited parking made it hard but we ended up just parking at a nearby church and taking a very nice walking trail to the restaurant. You order outside at the bus, which worked well since we had my 6month old German Shepherd, and they have 4-5 outside tables with umbrellas. Staff was nice and they have a lot of different types of crepes to try!
Super nice staff
The Flying Biscuit CafeTook my 6 month old German Shepherd here during the week when it was slow. The waiter was super nice and other staff poked there heads out to see if it was ok if they said hi. (And of course it was she loves the attention and I love desensitizing her to new people) They have a nice covered and fenced outside patio that you can easily access without going inside, but it is right on the road so traffic noise can be loud. Food was great!
