This hotel is so fabulous with dogs! We made a late reservation and checked in early and that actually apologized for not having my dogs bed set up in advance. They provided high quality treats, a dog bed and food/water bowl. In addition, all of the staff were so welcoming to our dog (and us). There is a 30 euro a day fee but it is clearly marked as an added service right on the website when you book. So, there are no surprises or hidden fees. Oh and it’s close to the large green space in front of Invalides where dogs are allowed! ❤️

So, that price—$100 per pet, per night—seemed steep to us compared to other major hotel chains where we have stayed. So that meant our 12 pound Pomeranian would cost $700 for the week.! Also, please note that dogs are technically not allowed outside by the hotel pool area (although this rule seemed to be enforced arbitrarily daily) AND dogs are not allowed unattended in the room. They are allowed leashed on the beach and the restaurant staff was welcoming of the dog if you sit outside, which is appropriate. But the hotel front desk were not exactly welcoming (so don’t be looking for a warm welcome of dog treats or cool gifts like at other actual dog-friendly hotels).

We stayed only one night and they charged $75 “deep cleaning fee” for my 12 lb Pomeranian mix. This is the most we have ever been charged at any hotel. For context, the room rate was only $135.

All dogs receive a welcome bag with a water bowl, high quality treats, a mat for under food bowls and a map with local dog parks. There’s also a smell grassy area designated for dogs on the property. But more than that, the staff are so friendly and welcoming to animals! We will now seek out Loews in all cities based on this welcoming experience.
