The “small” dog park is about an acre, while the “large” dog side is about two. There is plenty of space for lots of dogs, but it never seems to be crowded. There are also lots of on-leash areas in the park to explore if you don’t want to join others. The park provides small watering stations, but dog owners bring their own pools - quite welcome on a hot Louisiana day. Bring your own waste bags - the dispensers are usually out.

The hotel is just north of the interstate in a very safe area. Lots of dogs and dog owners, so I felt comfortable even on a late-night walk. Highly recommend!

I’ve always loved Kiroli, but only learned about the dog park on a recent visit back to town. It has tons of room for off-leash play, and plenty of wooded trails so you both can get some exercise. I highly recommend a visit!

We had a wonderful breakfast - Joe’s Skillet and Pawpaw’s Breakfast. They have a few tables out front and our waitress bought us an umbrella to provide shade for the humans and our pup! Very warm and welcoming, and we’ll definitely be back!
