I didn’t want to totally ding these guys because 1). they were super super friendly and gave us a break on the pet fees for 3 dogs. 2) The room was orderly and probably as clean as they could get it and, 3) we were exhausted from driving all day and didn’t request a room change.
However, while we love they allow lots of pets- cats and dogs- check your room before taking it for the night. Our room REEKED of cat spray/litter. We thought we could tolerate it, but literally smelled it all night and nothing we did could clear the air, including open a window.
We let the front desk staff know and they were shocked, so I know they probably would have changed our room if we asked, but I didn’t even think about this when we booked because we’ve never stayed at a hotel that permitted cats. Other than that, friendly staff, great breakfast, and the dogs loved the smells so they were happy! 😆

After traveling cross country (2x) with our dogs, we can honestly say our experience with Larkspur was the BEST!!!
The staff welcomes and accommodates the dogs. They have treats, and signs to alert the staff there are pups in the rooms.
Rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you could want!
Most importantly, this hotel is 5 minutes from the specialized Blue Ravine Pet Hospital. We have Frenchies and searched far and wide for this place.
in addition to being close to the animal hospital- this hotel is a short short walk from terrific food choices, a nail salon, pet stores, and an outlet mall.
10/10! Great job!

My husband and our three French Bulldogs traveled across the country and back and our stay at La Quinta in Tupelo was by far our best stay, especially for the price point. Clean, beautiful rooms, welcoming staff, plenty of grassy areas for the dogs, all the amenities (pool, workout room, luggage carts), friendly patrons, great location. Very safe and the cheapest gas we found during our travels was in Tupelo. They made loyal La Quinta customers out of us!

For the price point, I think we would have had a better experience at another spot. I was expecting a little better; floors were dirty, bathroom was a little rough, the place could use upgrades. Location is safe and for a quick stop, not terrible. They gave us a room on the first floor. We were able to park right outside our room and access it directly from the parking lot which was really convenient. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They have a hairdryer, refrigerator, and microwave.

We loved this hotel! Beautiful room, all the amenities- pool, hot tub, great restaurant next door, amazing location next to Starbucks. Car wash and shops super close! Staff were extremely friendly, the hotel was safe. We would definitely return!

Fabulous menu, very kind to our three doggos! Brought them water and even let us feed them their dog food on the patio. Other reviews say this, but they not only allow dogs, but the staff loves them and treated them so well. 10/10 recommend :)
