Beautiful views and lots of places to hike. Pups love all the deer to spot and the visitors center is also pet friendly.

OK. After reading the reviews I was a little hesitant to stay here. BUT...for $65.00 a night-for a king suite, well, we knew we would not be staying at the Taj Mahal. The room was clean, the towels were fluffy, the TV has Dish network, you get the picture. The staff at this hotel are amazing. They gave fantastic suggestions for food, several “green belts” (in Florida we call those parks) and took care of any and all issues quickly and efficiently. There is a large grassy area behind the hotel and next to the Sleep Inn parking lot for dog walking. We were even able to take Bella off leash for a few minutes as there was no one around.

This place is big. And I mean BIG. Plan to spend a lot of time. We felt very comfortable with our little girl and even picked up an antique or two. All under cover so this would be a great way to spend a rainy, too hot, or cold afternoon.

Artie was our guide. He was informative and answered all the questions from our group. Great was to see downtown and learn a little history. we felt very comfortable bring along our pooch.

The smoked chicken wings are wonderful. We also followed the waitresses suggestion and had the pulled pork. It was fantastic. Lots of pups on the porch made us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try.
