Nicely decorated, spacious modern bathroom, quiet. Lots of green space for dog.

Lovely grassy area for dog at foot of ski run. Room fine except bathroom smallest we’ve ever seen; couldn’t open door all the way, as it hit the toilet. Big saltwater pool looked nice. Nice restaurant with outdoor seating with view of ski runs and hiking trails.

The Sunset Lodge is a great place for dogs. Though our room was small, the bathroom was newly redone and very nicely appointed. The super great feature though is ample green space behind the motel for throwing the ball and sniffing around. The neighborhood back there was quiet and nice for dog walks. There is also a large park in that neighborhood which might be a good place to run your dog depending on rules. I saw none posted. Nice chairs in front of the room to sit and chat. My neighbors made great use of them making it difficult to go to sleep though they were only talking quietly.

This is a nice motel on a busy street in downtown Espanola. Everything was ok. I would give it a negative on the bedding. It was quite worn (holes in the blanket and bedspread was quite dingy). I only had a cat, but I did not see any green space for a dog.

Liked the hotel, its location and its restaurant. I only had a cat this trip, but I saw many happy dogs running around. Extensive grounds and parking lot to play with Fido.

There is open green space all around this hotel. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Easy access off freeway. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff at this hotel were friendly and the amenities, though worn, seemed to be clean. But the bathroom seemed to have been bathed in human or dog urine and wreaked intolerably. Since we travel with bleach, I thoroughly sprayed the bathroom, which knocked it back a bit. As soon as the bleach dried, the smell returned. It seemed like a dog might have been locked in the bathroom for way too long. Management gave us a partial discount for one night. If you stay at this hotel do not accept room 203.

We had a nice ground floor room with decent elbow room for our big dog and cat. It was quiet and everyone slept well. Would stay here again.

I checked the sheets as this place was quite dirty (carpet, stained bath tub, lots of dust) and, of course, there was hair from an animal all through the sheets on one bed. And it didn’t belong to our animal. Price was too high for the lack of quality accommodations. I am prepared to put up with dust and an unclean tub, but not changing the sheets is unforgivable. Good point was a mini-fridge that actually worked. Don’t stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at Candlewood Suites. Nice room, nice people. Good place for our Lab and cat.

We had a room on the 1st floor close to an exit and it was very convenient for getting the dog out quickly.

I would have rated this higher, but the outside of the buildings were in rough shape. Inside, the accommodations were great with a nice kitchen, sitting area, bedroom & bath. My husband found a grassy area in front to throw the ball for our labrador. We also had a cat with us and I documented prior damage to the couch from cat claws. Hope there’s no issue with that. p

This motel was fine for the money. There was green space around the hotel for dog exercise. Our room was large and on the bottom floor. Breakfast was standard and acceptable.

Very nice hotel on Hilton Head at very nice price. We had a cat so can’t report on dog-walking space, but the very close beach allowed pooches up to 10 am and after 5 pm (on leash).

Back door to get in with our pet wouldn’t unlock. Group of scruffy young men hanging out in parking lot, though polite, were engaged, perhaps, in questionable activities. We only had a cat so can’t comment on green space adequate for dogs around the motel. We were placed on the 3rd floor, which is never convenient. Place was ok, but not great.
