Cunningham Creek truly has everything the people want (excellent wine, tasty accompaniments, beautiful surroundings both inside and outside, friendly service) AND everything the dog wants (a dog park to run around unleashed, lots of pets while hanging out with the people tasting wine, treats, and happy fellow canines - including the host winery dogs). The winery even incorporates some of their dogs into the wine labels, making those bottles great gifts for fellow dog-lovers. The owners are a small (really micro) business too, so you know that you’re supporting small business by coming here. This is now my number one recommended winery for the greater Charlottesville area.

We had a great experience at this dog park. We were in from out of town with our dog so stopped here and our dog had tons of fun running around with the other 3 dogs there. Someone else mentioned in their review that it’s hard to find - you just walk past the playground downhill and it’s at the bottom of the hill. It’s not visible until you get close. Totally worth looking for it! It’s a large fenced area and is pleasant for people too because it is shady and well kept. Will definitely bring our pup back here again if we’re in the area again.

Great place for dogs to play in shallow water! This was Ellie’s first trip to a beach and she loved it!
