I love to travel and have been restricted with other animals- I’m looking forward to planning trips with my fur baby now!

Very nice stay!
Lorien Hotel & SpaWe stopped as a one night stay on our way through, thinking Alexandria would be a great stop with lots to do with our furry family member, and were not disappointed. The room was large, and very comfortable, and King Street was a nice walk with lots of nice shops and restaurants. Because it was February, our dining options were a little limited out and about, so we ordered room service which was amazing! The room was quiet and let our pup sleep without being on-guard through the night, and the Lorien will definitely be on our list for a return stay.
Great Location
Sleep Inn Historic WilliamsburgI love Williamsburg, and it was a good stopover when traveling with my pup. The room was nice, and location was close to everything, when we stayed there were several other dogs, and it seems all “Pet Friendly” rooms are on the first floor of one wing, which caused some noises that kept my boy on guard during the night. It was also sold out for the night. Easy access to grassy areas, and the staff was very friendly.
Great off-season beach!
Sunset BeachMy Pit mix boy and I had an amazing time in February. Mostly locals that time of year, but we had great weather to enjoy long walks to the Kindred Spirit mailbox and down to the jetty into SC!
Perfect afternoon walk!
Vereen Memorial Park and GardensThis is a very nice little park with unique trails and boardwalk that is perfect for an afternoon stroll. My boy loved the walk through, and we saw some of the wildlife (nicely identified on plaques throughout) as we went. the boardwalks are very pretty, make sure you take a marker, there is a place to “Make a Wish and Hang a Shell” where there were tons of positive messages.
Neat atmosphere with lots of outdoor seating
Patio's Tiki Bar & GrillPatio’s had a ton of outdoor seating and was a really great atmosphere with water views. We only stopped for drinks, but the food we saw on tables we passed looked great too! My pupper enjoyed the deck and it was a nice stop.
Sweet Potato fries for the win!
Fibber McGeesMy boy (1-1/2yr Pit mix) loved the outdoor area and the sweet potato fries. very friendly and welcoming staff, and great food!
Great evening activity with my pup!
Colonial GhostsTraveling through Williamsburg with my boy (1-1/2 yr) we decided to do the tour, and it was a great evening activity. Our guide was great and very informative, softer spoken than the other guide for the evening (which my pup liked better). A really nice tour with some great stories about the history of Williamsburg.
