Due to a vehicle issue I was desperate to find a place to stay overnight with my pup. Sutter Inn was close to the Ford dealership so here we landed. The front desk staff was very helpful but required cash payment for my pet, no credit card. That seems suspicious. The room was dismal, smelly and in need of thorough cleaning. The bed sheets appeared clean and I had no other options so I stayed. Noisy residents could be heard in the hallway most of the night. And I didn’t feel safe taking my dog out after dark. Wish I had spent more to find somewhere else.

The room was clean and spacious and a nice first stay for my pup who’s never been in a hotel before. I could tell the towels have been washed and were clean, but they were stained. Likely from people washing their dogs feet. I was disappointed that my second night stay was a significantly higher price than the first night even through the app. And both nights were mid week.

Ignore The older reviews. Now, June 2025, dogs are welcome on a leash! However we saw several dogs roam free and happy. Be bear aware though as this is bear country.

This hidden OLA is right next to the Arboretum and Botanical gardens. Made for a lovely stop as passing through town. Only downside is lack of water.

My pup thoroughly enjoyed this spacious park on a layover passing through Sacramento. Lots of trees and not too much mud in spite of recent rains.

I went by today and the sign now says closed on Thursdays.

Very large dog park, for both large and small areas. Dry and hot in the summer, but lots of shade provided. And water.
