Full time RV’er living the dream with dog friendly places and events

This was a very nice stay on Coronado Island. The room was very clean and comfortable. Daily housekeeping, free parking, right on a main road. They have a great restaurant on site and we ate there one morning. Check-in was easy. We walked several blocks around the hotel and the neighborhood felt very safe. The fire department is on the same block and the police department is two blocks away. I would highly recommend staying here.

This hotel is pretty new and located in a complex with 3 other new hotels. The location feels and looks safe, clean, and well kept. The room is great and has a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and cook top. It is stocked with everything you would want. The bathroom was spacious and the living area provided a sitting area for two. Check-in was a breeze. This place doesn’t provide a free breakfast or anything but it does have a 24 hour coffee machine and also hot tea. The pet fee I think is a little high but it is what it is. Outside they have no grass or lawn area. I had to walk Teddy in and out of the planters and they do have several planters. The bed was comfortable and it was a great stay. If you’re looking for a place with a dog park this isn’t for you. If you want a clean and safe place to relax and enjoy your stay this is it. I plan to return. I don’t think you can find much better in the San Bernardino area.

This was a great stay for Teddy and I. The place is a small 13 room motel located in downtown historic Williams. The staff is friendly and the room was very clean.
The room had everything we needed including a refrigerator and microwave. Everything worked and the bed was comfortable. This is a old place in a historic area so if you want new this might not be for you. We however wanted the whole Route 66 experience and we got it.
Places to walk and potty are a short distance away.
I would and actually do plan to stay here again. The only slight negative is Williams does have a very active set of train tracks that run through the center of town. It wasn’t a bother to us but you can hear it throughout the town.

This is a very beautiful place to spend time with your dog and nature. I just had a 3 day visit to the area and made time to visit it twice during the three days. So much to see and I still didn’t see it all. Take time to sit on one of the many benches and relax.
Bring plenty of water for you and doggie. I also bring a small backpack with snacks and other stuff.

This place is a very busy spot with orders filed fairly quickly. Busy usually means good and it did not disappoint.
This “spot” has a dedicated parking lot to the rear so for a right at the beach location that is a great thing. You order outside at a window and pickup outside at another window. All dining is by tables outside.
I ordered a double cheeseburger and a large order of fries. The prices were great. The food was very good. I could see why they were so busy.
I would eat here again. It is also great for people watching and if you are into trains the tracks are close by. Give it a try.

When I found this place on this site I wanted to go. When we arrived several other people had dogs. The birds have no fear and all the dogs were great around them. For one dollar you can get a pan of food. It doesn’t last long but it sure is fun. I would recommend it and it will be a fairly quick stop for not much money. It was worth it for sure.

This is a building from 1893. The porch that we ate on was beautiful. The breakfast was great and the service was excellent. The front of the restaurant is postcard perfect. Very dog friendly and you should try it.

They have a total of 8 outside tables. They also have table service so it is extremely dog friendly. The neighborhood is top notch and I felt very safe and not a homeless issue in the area that I saw.
The pizza was great and very reasonably priced.
Teddy got a water bowl without me asking.
I would return here for sure.

This is one place that just loves dogs. You are met outside and seated on the outstanding patio that is located in front of the restaurant. They gave Teddy a water bowl right away. They all thought it was cute that my dog Teddy was eating at Teddy’s. The food was great. The service was wonderful. The hamburger patty I got for Teddy wasn’t seasoned and he loved it.
I would eat here again and again. It was a top notch experience all the way around.

The food was great. Friendly staff. They have a doggie menu and he was welcomed with a cookie and water bowl.
I had the California burrito and substituted with garlic fries. It was amazing and I could just finish it.

This is a very cool motel by old town. They have two small grassy area with potty stations by the parking lot. They also have other small areas of grass by the parking lot and they out by the road. We didn’t have any problems here with potty places. The areas were mowed, clean, and landscaped. They also have flowers and benches around the property. This is a very well cared for place. The room was ok and everything worked. It was also clean and in good shape. The price was good booking on this site and I would stay here again. Only one downside is the parking. Tight spots that fill up by evening.

Two signs stating it was dog friendly. Several dogs on the patio. They gave Teddy a bowl of water right away. They offer a hamburger patty or grilled chicken for the doggies. I had the bacon bacon double burger and it was delicious. Highly recommended by both Teddy and I.

The room was updated and very clean. The dog area was very small and mostly mowed weeds. We did use it but walking across the street we found grass. A short way down is a city park that is beautiful and it has grass. No transient issues in the area and this is located right on the main drag with high end shopping and restaurants. Dominos is right next door and a Starbucks is a half a block away.

I stayed here for my birthday. Upon check-in we were offered a choice of two alcoholic beverages or two fancy waters. The lobby is very cool to look at and the staff friendly. The room was so funky and cool. A disco ball in the room was the tops. Great shower and it does have a cooler type of refrigerator that was a little odd. The dog park is large for a motel. The ground is wood chips/sawdust covered in the dog park. Pool, hammocks, propane fire pits and a on site food place. Corn hole and other things including loaner bikes. Teddy and I were very happy and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay at!

This was a very dog friendly place. Several cool things to see. They do have animals on the property (rabbits, goats, turkeys). Teddy absolutely love his time here. So much to see and sniff. I grabbed a T-shirt on the way out for memories. It’s a great place to see.

They have two dog friendly patios. One in the front and one in the back. We choose the one in the back and it was wonderful. They made sure Teddy had water and even gave a recommendation for a little something for him. The food was great along with the service. I highly recommend this place and your dog will also be happy.

Nice and friendly staff. Clean and modern room. This was a great value and I would stay here again. I give it 5 bones. Yes it’s a budget motel but it is top notch in its class.

So you can eat in the garden patio with your dog. This is a fun place and the burger and fries were great. You order inside and then they call you up to a window outside to pick up your food. I left Teddy in the car while I ordered as it was pretty cool outside. Ordering would be a problem for a solo traveler without leaving your dog in the car during this. I would return.
