We recently stayed at Chateau on the Lake Resort (CLR) for a week with our Cavalier. We chose this hotel because that advertised as being pet friendly. Well… they are but… for a extremely high and hidden price.
We checked in with our dog in tow (obvious right), we’re assigned a room and headed up to the 9th floor. Ugh with a pet, but whatever. We enjoyed our stay well enough but when we got home, SURPRISE!
We were charged an additional $250 because we were placed in a non-pet room. We are disputing this charge now along with several other hidden “fees." Watch out for the bait and switch at this place.

Dogs are only allowed on the back patio. No dog water bowl was provided (don’t worry I was prepared).
