This state Park is right off I5 and has a nice dog park to give your pups a break when you are traveling. Grassy and nice

Food is fabulous and outdoor seating is completely covered so good no matter he weather.

Garden center/oyster bar patio. The setting is great, the food delicious. I mean really delicious!!! Dogs most welcome.

Ver pleasant park

The food was exceptional, the service was outstanding. We had prime rib stroganoff and fresh green beans prepared to perfection. They have an extensive menu and specials. Nice cocktails too. The patio is lovely with misters for the heat and a fireplace for the cold. We just happened to be staying at the campground but I would drive out if my way to eat here with or without my pup.

Nice coffee shop with nice outdoor seating.

This dog park is in a big regional park. Plenty of good parking specifically for the dog park. Three different fenced areas all with grass, shade and water. When we visited two sections were closed for nesting birds.
One of the nicest city dog parks we’ve ever visited. The other people were great about watching their dogs and the dogs were well socialized.
If all three parks had been open we would have stayed longer but since there wasn’t as much room as usual we left to help with volume of dogs.

Pizza was amazing. Dogs at every table. The bake goods are delicious. Can’t say enough about this place.

Perfect stop along Hwy 50 to let the pup stretch his legs. Good shade, water, a plastic pool, lots of balls and pretty clean. The park near by is nice for a walk. And we saw others exercising their athletic dogs on the sports field close by.

Sourdough Burger was great and don’t skip the pie. Staff were very pup friendly and so were the other guests. Most of the tables had a dog and they were all nicely behaved so I’m guessing they enjoy a good reputation for their patio.

Really great food. 5 stars for sure. But it’s also gorgeous and welcoming.

Not to be confused with the San Simeon State Park where no dogs allowed on the beach. We had a great walk on this one. WR Hearst State beach north of San Simeon.

This bakery is so good I wouldn’t drive by Tehachapi without stopping. Great sandwiches, salads and bakery items.

Good food and a covered patio. Gorgeous views of the river.

The outdoor seating isn’t huge but they are welcoming and the food is delicious! Homemade everything. Even the iced tea was notably good. We had lunch and then bought baked goods for breakfast. If I’m in the area again I will definitely return.

The food is very nice. The patio seating is great with lots of options for shade and it looks like they are set up for some outdoor dining even in bad weather. We would definitely return.

This stop is everything you could ask for. They are set up for dog guests. They even have a dog menu.

Great food and good outdoor seating.
