It’s a great stop right off of I-40. There are 2 areas; one for small dogs and a large dog area. The large dog area is huge and has agility structures if your dog enjoys that. There’s a place to get fresh water for your pups. There’s covered picnic type tables and separate benches. There’s even lighting to turn on at night. Next to the dog park is a playground if you’ve got kids with you. The only cons would be that one of the dog bag dispensers was completely empty, so make sure to bring your own just in case. Also, in some areas there are some “stickers” (NOT goatheads) on the ground. Other than that, there’s grass and a water area that our dogs loved.
