Ellie Mae’s Tiki Bar was and awesome and unique place to take our pup! Monday nights are all you can eat crab and shrimp. They offered our pup a water bowl and lots of love. Super dog friendly outdoor “beach/tiki” area with sand which was really nice. We will definitely be back. Our Turbo really enjoyed it! Mindy was a great server and told us all about the daily events that take place.

I do not recommend coming on a Friday evening (5pm) like we did. We brought our senior pup along and were seated outside… and then totally ignored. No one acknowledged our boy at all. We had brought his own portable water bowl luckily. Maybe they were too busy to engage not only with us but our dog but it was just an overall disappointing experience. Twenty minutes after being seated, we ordered our waters, appetizer, and entrees at the same time. The appetizer (gator bites) came out quick and were delicious. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. About 30 minutes after finishing our appetizer, our waitress said “Your food should be right up”. Twenty-five minutes later our waitress came to our table and said “How did everything taste”… WE NEVER GOT OUR FOOD! We told her this, and the fact that we now needed to leave so we would like to pay for the gator bites and get our entrees to go (if they were even ready). She came back with our food packaged- but this meant no sauces, no ketchup, etc AND everything was cold! She mentioned how they were so busy, which we could see and we were being patient, but that is no excuse to ignore us and serve everyone around us. Our food was forgotten- as were we. Two bones as our dog got to try a bite of gator, but we won’t be back.

We stopped here for lunch. Unfortunately, at noon the patio is 50% in the sun and we had to sit with no shade- but we chose to anyhow as our pup had plenty of shade! They immediately brought out a bowl of water for our boy, and despite having to squeeze around him at times, all the staff were very friendly and engaging with him! The ‘spirit-free’ drinks were AMAZING- especially “Winter Wonderland”, best drink I’ve ever had. Our waiter, Mike, had many suggestions as this was our first time here. We chose to split the Mushroom Marmalade burger. It was to die for! The fries were also super delicious! We will definitely be back!

This was our dog’s first boat ride and he loved it! Dog friendly for sure. We had one other pup on board. They allowed the pups to sit on the seat (we used a blanket). We did a two hour tour and brought our pups portable water bowl along… Very enjoyable and relaxing morning!
