Big dog welcome on their outdoor, completely shaded patio! Sidney got so many pets and atte from staff and patrons. The service is exceptional on this busy midday, Saturday brunch timeframe. Then the food. So yummy! Opted for lunch with delicious homemade meatballs, pizza, little gem Caesar with a respectable wine menu. What a delightful discovery! Full Four Paw approval!

Have been coming here for almost two decades. Delicious, traditional Mexican food, plentiful portions and the service is always perfection.

Brought Canadian friends who had never seen a desert. Stopped here for lunch with my Golden in tow. Delicious salsa (nice bite-spice)/guacamole. The quesadilla, multiple sandwiches and custom burger were delicious! Service was outstanding, ambience/environment earns infinite bones! You can’t go wrong when choosing here.

Yes, it is dog friendly but a complete waste of money.
Chose here since dog friendly and in walking distance from the Cavalier. The patio's view of the ocean is marred by two roads, a green belt and then buildings. The menu is limited. Although the menu listed Sauvignon Blanc, they were out and the Pinot Grigio was undrinkable. The pepperoni pizza was a version of thin but not necessarily crispy. Its cheese had an odd, unpleasant texture (likely imitation.) Ate little and declined wanting to take it home. Service was adequate.
Cambria is just down the road and has lots of great options.

Relaxed vibe on a weekday lunch time. Big dog friendly and my pup loves it here! He gets lots of attention - LOL. He gives a full four paws approval for their large chicken bowl. Service is always awesome, you can’t beat the view (today there were fighter jets showing off/buzzing the beach,) and the food is awesome. They should bottle that habanero salsa! Street, small lot or $9 Valet parking. After lunch, walk the pier and soak up that sun. #surfcity #bringfido

Delicious Mexican fare, beautifully decorated garden backdrop with a soundtrack of birds andwaves crashing the shore. What’s not to love?!
Enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa, the Sauvignon Blanc was good and loved the chicken fajitas. They don’t have dog bowls so just got my pup his own ice water and he enjoyed a plain a la carte chicken breast (the chef kindly cut it up for him too.) A very enjoyable, relaxing afternoon and in easy walking distance from the Cavalier! This is a must stop whenever we are near.

Sits on a corner with plenty of free street parking (at least in September.). Pups welcome and there is a cute outdoor patio that hugs corner; enter through that door (a few steps to access.) Lots to look at, fun signs and great vibe. Also small patio covered patio at main entrance too.
The staff were epic. Very welcoming, kind and gave excellent sincere service.
Appreciated the water bowl for my pup!
Food is basic fare; you’re not coming here for a foodie experience. Instead, soak up local color, meet and chat with others and enjoy a meal/full bar with your beloved pup companion!

Super fun discovery while vacationing on the San Simeon coast. My golden and I couldn't miss that giant paw print outside! The store is chock full of any and everything you'd want for your pup or kitty; plus unique stuff I'd never seen before. I regret not getting the name of the awesome large "welcome" dog that genuinely and gently said hello to my dog. So much to look at; my pup thought it was Christmas. If you love your pet or know someone who does - stop in!!!

My golden and I needed an escape and the entire Cavalier team/property provided a very dog inclusive exceptional experience. Roxy was a wealth of information and my pup appreciated the milk bone at check-in. Even a professionally captured photo could not truly express the grandeur of their real estate. 24/7 gorgeous ocean view, exceptionally maintained property, 1,000% dog friendly, immaculate rooms with soaking tub/fireplace, sincere and friendly staff, two beach access points, multiple fire pits lit at sunset, awesome mega/oversized chess/checkers/tic tac toe, pool/hot tub, multiple restaurants and minimart within walking distance. Stay here is medicine for your soul. Additionally, this hotel's location is near the quaint, very tourist and dog friendly Cambria, Hearst Castle, the epic Elephant seal rook, the legendary Sebastian's (pup’s welcome inside store,) Hearst wine tasting, Piedras Blancas Light Station. The opportunities are delightfully endless! This place is special in the best way possible! Your dog(s) will thank you!
