Beautiful Views and Friendly Waitstaff

We enjoyed dinner with our pup at Bubba Brews as we watched the beautiful sunset! While we had a confusing experience with the hostess and table-busser, our server was outstanding and brought treats and ice water for our pup (unprompted).

Locally-Made Gifts and Very Dog-Friendly!

We wandered into Wrapped with our pup to check out the local art (in the back corner of the store). Not being sure of how dog-friendly it was, I carried our small pup. He got SO MANY scratches and even some treats from the very friendly women working in the store. They were also perfectly fine with me putting him down, and they directed us to their dog toy section. So, not only did we purchase a beautiful local print to remind us of our trip, but we found the cutest "Chewy Vuiton" plush purse toys for our pup to give his friends. :)

Beautiful Hike!

We enjoyed the hike and listening to the waterfall! We are relatively experienced hikers, and the "easy" trail was plenty challenging for us and for our pup.

Our little Bark Ranger!

We loved exploring the trails with our pup at Hot Springs National Park! Definitely make your dog a Bark Ranger; it's so simple and fun and makes for a good story! It's not easy to be a park ranger these days, and we could tell it brought the park rangers as much joy as it did us. "Bark Rangers" get a certificate, and you can also purchase "Bark Ranger" tags and (very large) bandanas as the gift shop.

Excellent patio!

This was the 5th place we tried to eat on one of the evenings of our Smoky Mountains trip (other places were closed or patios weren't open), and I'm so glad we found this! We called ahead to make sure the patio was open and that we could bring our dog, and they said absolutely, they are pet-friendly. In 20 minutes, we were seated next to the creek. The hostess and server were super friendly with us and our dog, and the food was good, too. We'd definitely go back.

Great place away from the downtown

I was surprised to see dogs were allowed in the dining area (totally great), but we chose to sit on the patio with our pup because it was a warm day. It was not busy, but there were signs everywhere saying to expect long wait times since food is made to order, so we didn't mind that service took a while. There are very few food options for gluten free people like me, which was kind of a bummer, but we made do (and we weren't there for a full meal, anyway). My husband loved the beer bread so much he asked the server if he could buy a loaf to go (and he did!) Highly recommend for a cold beverage on a nice day!

Very kind to our dog!

We hadn't realized the store was pet-friendly until we got there and a worker waved us in. Our dog was spoiled with lots of head scratches and treats from the friendly employees! Great deals on Lodge cookware, too!

Beautiful views!

We went to the national park knowing there were only two dog-friendly trails (kind of a bummer, but I get it). We walked both trails and enjoyed them. We also drove through the park on two different days; we could not get enough of the spectacular views, and our dog enjoyed opportunities to pull over and stretch and sniff. Absolutely gorgeous scenery!

Quirky, fun surprise!

We stopped into the Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum on a drizzly day as was one of the few indoor places we could take our dog. What a fun surprise - we ended up really enjoying it! Just the sheer number of salt and pepper shakers is mind-blowing. The man who greeted us was very friendly with us and with our dog. At only $3/person, you can't go wrong!

Fantastic views!

We weren't sure if we wanted to spend the money to go here after experiencing such beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains in the national park, but we were so glad we did! Views were outstanding, and we enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs enjoying the scenery. Our pup loved it, too!
