Went in, and the early evening was warm and a bit humid. Still very comfortable on the patio for my 4 year old boxer and me. Solid food and very helpful and nice staff.

Very casual with solid Cajun cuisine. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Patio space was nice with our pup. Remember, that you need to order inside, while they will bring your order to you.

we totally enjoyed this restaurant. Kind of hole in the wall, very casual. Staff was great and friendly. They welcomed our 2 year old boxer (enter outside area on the side), brought her water and gave her attention. Food was really solid BBQ. Good way to relax on first evening of a long trip!

Hotel was convenient with clean rooms. Staff was solid. Room did have a lamp that had no bulb, got a replacement easily enough, but found the standing lamp had a short. Mounted hair dryer also had a short. Not huge deals and things happen and we reported to the desk. Property outside was okay. A bit of trash around but it is off the freeway, so some trash probably blows onto the property. They have turf around the property, which not a huge fan of but it is the desert. All in all, it worked well for us.

The hotel is set to get to and clean. that said we had an adventure and some suggestions. When we arrived we went to front desk, and waited for the staff to come out. The person literally said nothing, no “welcome to La Quinta," or “how can I help you." Waited for me to say “I am checking in.” He asked about our pet (dog) then handed me two pieces of paper and asked to sign, did not really explain them. The staff was not rude, just not really welcoming or that helpful. Later after midnight, the person upstairs was walking rather heavily and woke us up. Hoped it would stop, but after minutes, asked the front desk if they could politely ask the person to walk a bit softer: seemed it was stopping but then the person started their in room jacuzzi tub, then stopped.

Then we then heard water and saw water leaking through the ceiling and in two other places. Called the desk and let them know. Long story short, we had to ask for a new room. Packed up (now 2am) and moved. All this on the first of four nights. Not once after this did we hear from the staff or manager to apologize and see how we were doing. Things settled down after that and stay was fine. Housekeeping staff was great and very friendly. All things said, the events up front were hopefully one off and hotel works, especially if you have pets.

The hotel was easy to find and very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly on all fronts.
