Great dog park and walking paths!
Best Western Plus High Country InnAs previous reviewers have attested, there is a dog park (separate large and small dog areas, relatively clean, well stocked dog bags) and nice walking paths (paved) behind the hotel around some ponds (with some very fat koi). Lots of outdoor seating areas all around the hotel. Breakfast was included, typical offerings for a hotel breakfast (coffee, juice, hot chocolate, rotating hot items, cereal, toast, bagels, yogurt, and those flip waffle makers). Cheerful staff. We got take-out from the associated restaurant Jeremiah’s, which was very busy!! The parking lot cleared out after Jeremiah’s closed so it must be popular with locals. Room was clean, hard flooring, nice mission style furnishings, good larger sized mini fridge.
