Nice weekend market
Ocala Downtown MarketNice weekend outdoor market. Usually one or two vendors selling pet related items, but most are food and craft vendors. No water source for pets with the exception of an occasional vendor.
Dog friendly on covered patio
Brick City Southern Kitchen & Whiskey BarOne of our favorite restaurants when we want to dine with our pups. Covered patio with about 10 tables. Staff very attentive to customers, both two-legged and four-legged. Always great service, food, and drinks.
Dogs allowed but not appreciated
The Crazy Cucumber 352 Eatery and BarThey have a large covered patio with plenty of seating but that’s really the only positive. While dogs are allowed on patio, it was obvious the staff didn’t care for pets being there. Service was bad, and food was even worse. We’ve dined there twice to see if the first time was an off evening, but not the case. It’s the norm there. We won’t be going back.
Great dinner spot with pups
Shuckin' Shack Oyster BarGreat dinner spot with pups when the weather is nice. Staff gives our pups lots of love! Small outdoor patio with a handful tables. Outside area fills up quick on nice days during the busy winter season.
Pup Cups!
Twistee TreatOur pups love going to Twistie Treat. They get their very own pup cup with a treat on top for free! Several tables and benches to sit with your pup and enjoy your ice cream when the weather is nice.
Comfortable one night stay
Hampton Inn PennsvillePets welcome and staff seemed to enjoy them. We were able to pick our room - first floor near side door for convenience. Large grassy area behind hotel, and several chain restaurants in walking distance.
Friendly staff and fully stocked
PetSmart OcalaOur go-to for pet food and treats. Both our pups are on limited diets, and we can always find their food in store as well as a large variety of treats they can have. We also appreciate their 2 for $5 toy bin. With dogs that go through toys easily, it’s great to have inexpensive toys for them. Staff is always helpful and seem to honestly love giving each pup a good scratch.
Pet friendly
Hampton Inn Columbia Downtown Historic DistrictPet friendly hotel. Picked a room on first floor near side door for convenience. Only rate the hotel four bones because of small pet relief areas.
Great experience & grooming
PetSmart GroomingWe’ve had one of our two pups groomed here several times. The staff is wonderful with him and seems to enjoy being there. They were very patient with him and made him comfortable with getting groomed in the beginning. His cuts have always been good.
Pleasant overnight stay
Hampton Inn & Suites Wilson I-95Pleasant overnight stay while traveling through the area. Pets were welcomed, room was clean, and we were able to request a room on the first floor for convenience.
Perfect spot for breakfast
Crabby's HideawayStopped in for late breakfast. Plenty of shade on patio, promptly brought our pup water, and servers gave him lots of love. Smoothies were fantastic! Breakfast (traditional breakfast and French toast) was really good. Our server was the best!
Good but…
Salty's Island Bar & GrilleGood food, water for our pup, and live music. Two cautions: 1. parking is tough 2. if your pup doesn’t do well with congestion and lots of noise this isn’t the place for you.
Lots of love
Coco's Crush Bar North BeachFrom the moment we arrived, the staff was loving to our pup. They promptly brought a water dish with ice cubes, and there was lots of room between tables for pups to stretch out. Besides our pup, there were two other dogs enjoying the evening on the deck.
