100 pounds of protection and love

Very comfortable property. Tons of lush grass area to walk your dog. Pricey pet fee but needed a quality hotel and bed after roughing it.

If you enjoy to watch your pet get back to nature, this is the perfect place. Cabins are cozy comfortable. It feels like adult summer camp. Be very cautious because there are bears. Saw 2 black bears in parking lot on a weekday morning. My dog was not with me and caught me off guard. Carry bear spray at all times.

Basic room, pretty dated but clean. 3 stars as there is zero place for pet relief. Not a blade of grass anywhere.

We found this hotel extremely comfortable and convenient. Dogs are welcome. Not a designated pet relief area but loads of grass and adjacent sidewalks and places to walk.

Basic hotel. No pet fee which is nice. Room very small so with a large German shepherd it was tight. A few areas to walk around the parking lot and find grass. I personally wished I had spent a little more and gotten a different property but many were sold out.

Very nice spot and Large semi covered patio area area to sit. Great selection of salads and sandwiches as well as ice cream. Grass area ( walk only) . Restaurant was extremely crowded. Not a grab and go place. Well worth the stop
Great little place. Accommodating to dogs and there were about 8-10 tables outside with umbrellas. Food selection was excellent but only 4 stars because serving size was just okay. Bar menu was extensive.

Bring Bear Spray!!!!!
Beautiful but for experienced hikers.

Dogs need to be on a leash! Deer everywhere and they are not dog friendly . Had a female charge at us and I have a 100 pound dog. I later noticed a fawn a few yards away. Bears are not common but being so close to the lake…. They fish there. Bear spray is a must for any hiking in Montana.

Very nice, clean, and welcoming property. Dog grass area is large and very well maintained. Your dog will love this place.

For a dog park a 10+ review for size, shade and overall property. BUT… I had to stop going because of aggressive dogs . My late 13 year old GSD who moved very slow and just was walking around the area was caught by surprise ( with me right there) by 3 unneutered males and pinned him down. I had several people run over to help. Someone carried my boy to my car. The owner of those dogs was seen taking dogs out of park. When confronted, he just got in car and drove off.
I donated to support this park when built but sadly I’ll never go back. 💔

No grass, large bark chips … seating and trees. Small but worth a stop while on 15

Easy parking and a official dog park. Small and being the only one there, no issues. Poop bags , benches, and GRASS. My big boy loved it and was finally a safe place to trot around off leash on a long car ride .

So delicious and so friendly. Loved it here and so did my pup.

Price was right, room was clean and spacious and dog was happy. Drove 1/3 mile to park car close to river walk and had a wonderful walk along the path.

Room was comfortable and basic. No grass anywhere. Walked entire property and not one blade of grass found. Property very well maintained and for the price worked out well.

Good food, cute town, grass area close by. It has everything for a traveling dog and owner. Tables might get hot in afternoon sun, but for morning was fantastic.

Room and property were pretty dated. To be positive, the bed was well made and comfortable. Breakfast was not worth staying for. Walked to adjacent hotel for pet relief.

Loved it as there are many patches of grass and loads of trees to walk your dog. Also several restaurants in walking distance. The free breakfast is very good and there is an area in lobby to eat with your dog. Will stay here again for sure.

Great food as always… patio is nice but very small bistro tables and umbrellas. Did the trick for a quick dinner and pup could come.

Love this place and it is a short distance to the dog park . Great food!!! Can be a little crowded in table area if you have a huge dog because the tables are close together.

The best park I’ve even seen

Great food and drink and pups will enjoy too

Awesome place

Lots of little hikes off lake area. Bring bear spray and keep dog on leash ( we used a 24 foot) unless your dog has excellent recall. Deer are everywhere.

Maybe only a 2 bone review…. Off a dirt road, good fencing and large area, ground is rough at best. Surrounded by tumble weeds and absolutely nothing. No grass to really speak of. Good place for a stretch and run but not very appealing.

Gorgeous park with trails galore. Leash is a must for safety for all.

Good food, but outdoor seating area had no real shade to sit with a pup. Very small overhead umbrella type unit but concrete was hot and no shade for dog so we ate in the car.
Your dog will be happy if you’re happy. Nothing better than world famous Handel’s Original Store

Service, food and outdoor patio for dogs are 5 bones!!!
Reservations are a must in summer.

Great vibe and food. Dog friendly.

Found this place extremely friendly with our dog. Food was fantastic and very healthy.

Driving through… brought my GSD midday midweek… just a few folks there. Lots of room for them to run. Big dog and small dog areas and Zone 2 had a mix of both sizes.

Very nice room and dog friendly. Grassy area to walk dog, but did trip 2 times in gopher holes overgrown with grass. Poop bag dispenser was empty.

I gave this 5 bones as the room is huge. The big plus is you are on the Snake River walkway. Great place to do a mile plus walk with your dog!
