Great location!
Ridge Run Dog Park2 acres in the large dog area, plenty of room to run! They also have a smaller area for dogs under 35 lbs, but it’s posted outside that you can take your larger dogs if no small dogs are there (which is great if you aren’t comfortable or your dog isn’t with other dogs), you just have to leave if somebody with a small dog wants to come in it isn’t first come first serve. The agility course is awesome and they even have canine good citizen classes! They have water fountains and hoses attached so you can spray your dog down or get them fresh water. Large dog area has a shaded pavilion. Plenty of shade and sun! Toys are also provided. We love this dog park!
Not the greatest.
Glenwood BeachThere are definitely better dog friendly beaches around. We have had encounters of irresponsible owners letting their dog off a leash when they weren’t even under control and running up to my nervous dog. Most of the water is too shallow for my dog to swim in, and the rest is a 60 foot drop off. It’s a great area for your dogs to wade around in and cool off if they are larger as they probably wouldn’t be able to swim.
