Though I left my pet at home at the last minute, The Holiday Inn was ready and set. Clean with efficient and friendly staff. They win! I did however have a pricing surprise because I mistakenly cancelled my reservation and had to rebook at the front desk. The price at the desk was precisely HALF! I was SHOCKED and felt slightly duped. Don't get me wrong, the site is splendid and their help line staff is amazingly kind and knowledgeable. But HALF the PRICE when I booked direct? I learned an important couple of lessons here! 😻

We arrived early for a weather related last minute stay on Christmas Night. Folks could not have been kinder or more caring. They told us where to take a peaceful walk and then reminded us that room service would serve until 9pm. Very generous, considering! The room was very clean and comfy cozy. Nero and I were thankful to be cozy, safe, and well cared for!

The rooms are spacious and convenient. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The grounds are set up nicely for strolling and sitting with your pet and fellow pet owners! It’s a bit expensive and multiple night stays would be quite pricey.

The pet “wing” is greatly appreciated but desperately requires an immediate redo. It is dark, dingy, a bit scary and smells old and odd. Not even doggy smell, just odd. When will folks realize that people with pets are more often cleaner, neater and kinder than “the regulars”? I saw folks outside the other wings dumping garbage from their trucks on the ground and driving off. I saw folks smoking and leaving their butts and nip bottles in the lot. Sad. The pet wing had zero poop to scoop and was quiet and orderly .

Easy check-in. Clean rooms and great location. Nice pet stretching area — ball toss field in back is swell!

We were warmly welcomed, although there was some mumbling about a third party reservation made under my first name making it hard to find. Whatever, I just waited patiently while they looked. The dogs were welcomed and thankfully well behaved. Although there isn’t much space to walk them at the hotel proper; the wooded location at the end of the road made it quite nice to walk about in the shade off site. I was very happily surprised and enjoyed our trip immensely!!
