We dined at Saba Saturday evening with our Hounds at Saba. The patio welcomes dogs and the food is wonderful. Pita bread was divine with the small plates & appetizers. The main courses were elegant and delicious. The wait staff provided water and attention to our hounds who loved the attention along with the appreciation shown by other guests at Saba.

We will be back when we return and seek a Mediterranean palate as good as other cuisine in the Crescent City.

while we enjoyed our last visit here with our hounds, we regret to advise that this location has closed due to the building / business owner deciding not to renew the lease. Jason’s Deli on the other side of town (Enterprise Way & University Drive, behind IHOP) is still open but has limited outdoor seating to accommodate dining with dogs …

Stopped here on a Sunday in August (OMG, it’s hot and humid in South Georgia in August). The screened-in dining area has fans to keep us cool while stopping with the dogs from traveling. BBQ is good (try the burnt-ends; scrumptious!!!). when we were here, the Sunday lunch crowd had cleared out so the dogs had the run on the screened dining area (but should normally be leashed … ).

All-in-all, recommended. Salty Snapper is another great option (we tried it when driving thru Valdosta going to Tampa; tried the sister restaurant, Woodstock BBQ Tavern, on our way back thru…)

stopped here on our way to Tampa… really glad we did. nice lawn to walk the dogs and really friendly staff that made us feel welcome WITH the dogs. food was good as was the service.

Took our 15 week old pups with us to Taziki’s with friends. The patio gets shaded by the building late in the evening making it a great place for us to bring the CB pups and teach them to behave around strangers as well as under the dinner table

took our two new 12 week old puppies here for their first outing. while the puppies were Leary of many things, they settled down and loved all the attention the other customers gave them.

When traveling with our puppies through Lexington, we were pleased to find “BringFifo.com” as well as finding J. Render’s listed there. The patio with live entertainment was superb (despite a forecast of rain that caused the performers to have to move inside). We had a great meal with our puppies being a side show for dog-friendly patrons. We will definitely go back to J. Renders… only disappointment was them being out of smoked yard-bird …. Staff was great, food delicious, and our puppies learned another place where they need to behave to get treats.
