Winona forest is one if the prettiest, versatile areas I like to visit somewhat locally. It isn't super hilly, multiuse trails (be aware of bikers and horses). Many trails, wood bridges, and grooming in the winter time. My only complaint is the deer flies and mosquitos, but that is not a fault of the forest.
