Our room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed. Slept really well until about 4:30am and then I suspect that is when the crew comes to set up for the free breakfast. Unfortunately, we had the guest room right next door to the breakfast room and it was a bit noisy from set up and all through those early birds getting their free "worm" at 6am. Not exactly ideal for sleeping in. I suspect that since we requested a dog-friendly room that is why we were put in that room. However, the room's location was super convenient for taking our dog straight out the lobby to go do its "business." Staff was always very pleasant to us and our dog. But then again, we do have the world's greatest dog! :-)If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, dog friendly, no frills (except free breakfast) well located pitstop in Bellingham, this is it!

Everything about our stay was easy and stress-free with our dog. Our room was on the entry level floor (no stairs or elevator to hassle with), convenient access to the green space behind hotel to let our dog potty. Staff (and guests) were very friendly to our dog, and the pet fee seemed reasonable at $20/night compared to other places we looked at. I only left off a bone because there were no extra dog-related treats (like water bowl or eating mat, or even actual dog treats to welcome our pup) and there was no conveniently located trash receptacle to put our pet waste in near the grassy area.
