Was recommended this place through BringFido.com because we were traveling through the area with our two small dogs and we were looking for a place to stop for lunch. This hidden gem did not disappoint! On the outside it's a little quirky, in the bestest way, it probably used to be an old service station that they converted. They had outside seating/patio area for us and our dogs to sit at. Our server was Jana, she was amazing! Straight away she came out with two bowls of water for our girls. I ordered the Dolly, with extra bacon and the house made potato chips. I also ordered a side of the potato salad as well as ordering their six dips*. My wife also ordered the Dolly but with their crinkle cut fries. We both agreed that the Dolly was amazingly delicious!! The house made potato chips were cooked to perfection, perfectly seasoned and went very well with any of the dips. The crinkle cut fries were crispy and well seasoned. We both enjoyed the mom's deviled egg potato salad and couldn't stop eating it! I enjoyed all of the dips, and my wife's favorites were the Dill dip, Jana's roasted garlic and onion, and the Appalachian Goddess. We were too full to eat them at the restaurant so we purchased two cookies to go-the fruity pebbles white chocolate chip and the cinnamon toast pumpkin. If you're ever in the area I highly recommend stopping here-ask for Jana, she's amazing. She was very attentive to us, and a cat lover! We would definitely stop here again if we're ever in the area!!

They do have a very small parking area but we had no issues with parking.

A very cool art display. Nice place to stretch get out and stretch your legs. Our dog Maple enjoyed walking around the display. Lots of cool photo ops as well. There was even spray paint cans left from previous visitors if you choose to leave your mark.

Great free museum dedicated to #2!! The owner, George, was very nice and very knowledgeable in all things #2. You’re allowed to take pictures and ask any questions you want. Lovely gift shop, we bought 2 hilarious t-shirts & a sticker. Don’t forget to leave a donation!

Beautiful hiking trail that offers a quiet and serene walk in the woods. We chose the longer 1.5 mile loop trail and we had the entire park to ourselves! Beautiful scenery of the mountains and trees. Our dog Maple really loved it.

Loved this park. Was looking for some place to stretch our legs once we arrived in town and this hidden gem didn’t disappoint. Lovely paved 2 mile loop with beautiful views of the mountains. Along the trail there’s different exercise equipment you can try. They have restrooms with running water (a bonus in our book). We very much enjoyed it as did our dog Maple. Definitely give this place a try!

While my wife and I were looking for an establishment with outside seating to accommodate us and our small dog for lunch; we stumbled upon this place. Though there isn’t outside seating available the hostess did let us know that they were dog friendly and our little dog was traveling with us in her dog stroller. We were seated quickly and the service was excellent; very quick!! The staff was very attentive and gave our little dog so much attention. The food was delicious as well!!
