Great for Pets and BBQ Lovers

Awesome food, with great choices for sauces. The BBQ is so good you really don't need the sauce though. Great outdoor, covered space for you and your furry foodie companion!

Dogs are Allowed

Just wanted to confirm that dogs are now allowed inside the taproom. Great atmosphere, thanks for allowing the pups to enjoy Avl's original craft beer destination.

Convenient , Dog Friendly

Nice quiet location with plenty of open space for a walk. Dogs are definitely welcomed as guests, not an inconvenience. Rooms are simple but clean.

Great food, spacious patio

Excellent location on Meeting Street. Wonderful food and service. You may have to be escorted around the side of the building to get to the outside patio. Once back there, you'll find a spacious area to enjoy a meal. Some places are extremely small and you almost feel in the way when seated outside with a dog, but not here. We will be back!

Doggone good time

Lucky has always been welcome at Lakeview, with a friendly staff in addition to clean, well manicured grounds for him to take in the game.

A Fixture in Charleston - Great Pub, Just OK for Dogs

Tommy's is a popular spot, conveniently located near Market St and St. Philips Church. They have indoor as well as patio seating. For dog owners, you are relegated to one of four picnic tables adjacent to the patio. The wait staff was great, even if we were out of sight didn't mean we were out of mind. Next time I hope we are offered some water, though, even if we brought ours with us. My biggest hang-up is that the tables are extremely low to the ground, and the black mulch that was just put down is going to make your dog the same color. I'm sure in time that will fade as the sun bakes the dye away. It would be nice if they would let well-behaved dogs on the patio in the future.
