Great location
Ashworth by the SeaRight on the beach. Nearby Portsmouth and other areas of interest. No grassy areas at the hotel itself but nearby. Staff are nice and friendly. My dog was welcomed. They were understaffed on a busy weekend but managed. Room was fine, hotel common areas a bit shabby. Overall decent stay. Would return.

Hampton Inn ColchesterThe staff here are very kind and friendly to both people and dogs. Lots of grass around the hotel for walks. Got a treat bag when we checked in. Room was very expensive but not worth the cost. Reservation was nonrefundable and I chose the wrong one by mistake, same size room but called a family suite. My fault for choosing that but definitely not worth what we paid. Hotel is dated and needs some TLC in some areas. Beds were clean and comfy though.
