Wonderful Room, Terrible Breakfast
Lotus Boutique Inn & SuitesThe hotel welcomes pets for a small fee. The room we requested at the last minute was marvelous with an amazing beach view. The beds sleep well and decor was just like the photos. This hotel does NOT have a safe place for pets to walk. Dogs are not allowed on this part of the beach and pets are not allowed to be left in the room alone. No pets in the common areas allowed. There are patches of grass in front of the hotel for your dog to potty but there is very busy traffic within 2-3 feet away. Really unsafe! They have a great coffee machine but it is very slow and guests are lined up, always waiting. Breakfast is beyond awful. Old apples-not spoiled but not fresh at all. A jug of orange juice with tiny cups. Yogurt and previously frozen mini muffins and something that resembled a pastry. While waiting for coffee an employee opened a cabinet under the coffee machine and hiding in the cabinet was a ton of FRESH, beautiful bananas but he sadly didn't put them out. 3 bones because they are polite and pet friendly. Go out for breakfast though---my Yorkie wouldn't even try the muffin!
Great Staff-Beautiful Views
Best Western Crystal River ResortPet friendly hotel. Great service and clean rooms. No pets allowed in the pool area and you CANNOT leave your pet in the room under any circumstances, even if it is in a kennel. Only $10 pet fee per night. I would definitely stay here again. I would have given 5 bones IF they had a larger area for the pets to potty. Otherwise great hotel!
