Came up With my dog to grab a beer and pickle pizza but was greeted with a sign no dogs allowed inside. Now I’m solo - so being a responsible dog owner am not about to just leave my dog tied up alone and here’s why. It’s like a freaking day care out there. Kids running about all over the place. If it was stressing out, I can only imagine for a dog what it’s like. I guess they have a walk up window to order limited items but alas not open. I really love this locations I've been and brought new people here many times. But something musta changed where it turned into a day care while the “parents” get their drink on. Hard pass for me and the dog. Bummer.

Very dog friendly and informational. The owner is very nice and the tour guide had some great information and jokes along the way. They are a cash only operation. They offer protective head Helmets (you’ll need it). The tunnel is really neat, and muddy. Once inside it’s really interesting to learn about how the miners did their jobs in such tight quarters. My dog was having a blast but did get a lil spooked by the ringing of the bell. Other than that great time. Highly recommend.
