Not sure why this was recommended on the app, you cannot walk your dog here at all aside from the parking lot and picnic area.

There’s even areas where dogs are allowed off leash. There are many big open fields with beautiful mountain views!

They allowed us to bring our dog up the monument elevator to view the top! (If they are very busy with many people you may not be able to bring your dog up the elevator though, we went on a less busy day) The views were absolutely breathtaking, an absolute must see!!
