We were curtly instructed that dogs are NOT allowed to sit on the chairs! We have taken our 16 lb Coton de Tulear to dozens of dog friendly restaurants where he typically sits on a chair while we and he have our lunches. We cover his chair with a towels in case of food spills. The patio chairs are out in the open subject to bird droppings and parking lot dust....they were not spotless!
The irony of it all this is a dog-themed restaurant named after the owners late dog with literally 100's of customer's dog photos posted throughout.
P.S. The food and service were very good.

Need a place open 24/7 to bring your pet? 5 & Diner has a dog friendly patio. Didn't bring my pet but had a huge breakfast at 5:00am after dropping wife at airport. 50's style diner. Great decor. Great service. Good food. I believe it's a chain so there are other locations other than Phoenix.

Fat burgers served up quickly. Huge with fries or coleslaw. Low key and not fancy but very busy. You can get a beer at the adjoining bar.

Been there many times if we go to Phoenix. This is the first with our Coton de Tulear, Tigger. They welcomed us INSIDE with no hesitation during busy lunch time. (Outside seating was not set up). Always great service and phenomenal authentic Mexican food
