We only tried the lupine trail but our dogs had a great time! We kept them on lead for the most part as theirs warnings of rattle snakes/ticks/poison oak but we were just playing it safe as they’re young. Next time we’ll be more confident! Maps are available at the visitor centre. We ran in to a number of dogs too which was nice!

Our two dogs had a great time! We made sure to not go through the 17 mile drives gates and there was parking right along side the trail. Our dogs loved being able to explore the trees/trails off leash. Everyone was really friendly too and was quiet on a Saturday morning! There are poison oak off the trails and the trails are a little difficult to follow but we just wandered ☺️
