A nice no-frills room with lots of space and a bathroom. It’s convenient to the highway without being too close. There are gas stations and fast food nearby. The dog-walking area was better than I expected! I ding them a bone because the front desk had to have a credit card “with numbers on it” meaning they didn’t use a machine — they wrote down my card info. I’m not too comfortable about that policy, but after 500 miles, I didn’t argue. I skipped the free breakfast and got nearby fast food instead.

The hotel staff were very pet friendly. This hotel is older and has a lot of charm. Access to the floors is via elevator, so there’s no slamming staircase doors to spook your dog. Plenty of parking in a garage. Just a few blocks away from a college campus with lots of green space! I would definitely stay again.
