Bare bones, won't stay again

My Place Hotel - Overland Park

The hotel was just ok. It was only slightly cheaper than other options. It does have a full kitchen, but you have to pay for any dishes or utensils you might want. Big rip 6" long in the bottom of the ADA shower that water could just seep through despite a crude attempt to seal with caulking. Anytime any door near us opened or closed our door made a loud thump startling our pup. It took a while to get him to stop barking at it every time someone opened the door. No grass nearby. I won't stay at this brand again.

Charming hotel

Hotel Frederick

After a long drive we were greeted by friendly staff and enjoyed unwinding to dinner and drinks on the patio while watching the sunset go down over the bridge. On a Friday night, this hotel has nightlife with live music in the basement. The hotel is anchor to the downtown row of shops and cafes. There is a fenced dog park short drive on river made a nice place to play before hitting the road again. This is a beautiful small town. Glad we chose to stay here instead of the city.

Great amenities

The Guest House at Graceland

We were just passing through and security was a high priority. Our pet was welcomed but it does come at a high price: $100 per pet, plus parking plus resort fee added up to a bit of a higher price. But with good food, drink, and souvenirs available on site and lots of grassy areas for fido we felt it was worth it.

Charming comfort in perfect location

Andrew Jackson Hotel a French Quarter Inns Hotel

One block off Bourbon St. On street full of boutique art galleries with restaurants, coffee and river walk within a minutes walk. We liked how the room opened directly on the large enclosed patio. Very friendly staff made us feel right at home and letting know our puppy was welcome. Vampire bar was best location for outside cocktails. Nearby Southern Paws offered puppy souvenirs and treats. Cafe Emilia has hidden patio for dog friendly dining just a short walk from hotel.

Dog friendly

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas I-35 Walnut Hill Ln

Staff was friendly and room was spacious and bright. Location is noisy because of highway and parking lot had homeless people. From our window we could see car that was broken into next door. Property did have a security guard on duty.
